Synopsis

For generations, the Frost family has run the Museum of Magical and Rare Artifacts, handing down guardianship from mother to daughter, always keeping their secrets to “family only.”
Gathered within museum’s walls is a collection dedicated to the Grimm fairy tales and to the rare items the family has acquired: Cinderella’s glass slipper, Snow White’s poisoned apple, the evil queen’s magic mirror, Sleeping Beauty’s enchanted spinning wheel…

Seventeen-year-old Bianca Frost wants none of it, dreaming instead of a career in art or photography or…well, anything except working in the family’s museum. She knows the items in the glass display cases are fakes because, of course, magic doesn't really exist.
She’s about to find out how wrong she is.

Review
Bianca is on her way, she is learning what she really is and what her family has been protecting for generations. But coming to terms with what she is will have to wait when an evil witch comes into her life sending her into a quest to a land known and Everafter with the purpose to recover what was stolen from her.
Bianca really demonstrates how strong and brave she is during this story, even thought she wants to run and hide she forces herself to stand tall and to find a way to make things work, to keep moving forward and to reach her goal.
This story really takes advantage of fairy tales so if you are a fan of the original story's then you will enjoy this book.
The only detail that this book has is that there are certain scenes in this book that you would expect more from but end up coming with out any taste or portraying the full impact that those scenes could and find their way into shaking the reading and making you a little bit more into the book little by little.
Now don't get my wrong this book does have it's surprises that make it unique and interesting what I'm trying to say is that it feels like it doesn't live to it's full potential, which is also telling us that Liz DeJesus has more space to grow into and deliver better books for us.
