Synopsis
Lia Weaber didn't really have time to grieve the lost of her parents by hands of the watcher, she had to readily take over the household, her twin brother and her little sister and getting her family's quota on time so they can have supplies.
One day after being warned not to miss another town meeting Lia's sister finds someone in the forest, a foreigner, now Lia must decide if this person is worth saving knowing that helping him will risk her and her family to more then the watchers that hunt the villagers once night comes upon.
Review
I really liked this book, but it didn't reach full marks because it leaves you with the feeling that something was missing with the story, maybe because we see the evil forces that act in this story and that the characters fear but they are far away or they weren't as aggressive or fearful, or maybe the way they click in the story wasn't strong enough, at this moment I'm not really sure, but it might be a little  bit of all.
The end of this story leaves you with this feeling of closure but also brings to life this feeling that leaves you loving asking for more and luckily for us we do get a second go with this characters so lets wait and see what other surprises Kate Avery Ellison has installed for us in Thors.
I loved that this book even thought it had something missing it felt fresh, the personality of Lia and her circumstances and the way she grows makes you feel like a part of the story and makes you empathize with her and root for her and hope that everything will go well not even how dark her path seems to go.
