Shelf We Get to Know Crystal from Get Lost in Fiction

1- If you knew you were getting amnesia and you could leave yourself a note to re-read just one book or series which one would it be?
Wow, way to hit me the hardest question first. Haha!! The series I would read would have to be the Harry Potter series. The reason for that is because I grew up with this series. When they were 12 so was I, so I could relate to it all, besides the being magical part!

2- What has been the review that you've had the most fun writing?
That review would Lies Beneath by Anne Brown, because I was so passionate while writing it. I loved that book so much. I mean there were mermaids, forbidden love, mystery; I could go all night talking about this book.  The cliffhanger alone had me going crazy during my review. Also I had just started my blog and this was one of the first reviews  so I can look back and see how much I've grown and that’s pretty cool.

3- Tell us a little bit about your book crush, literary significant other or however you wish to call it ;)
I have two book crushes because I can’t narrow it down. If you would have asked me this question last month the answers would have been so different, but since then I've read two books with characters that I completely fell in love with. My first Pick is Will from The Angelfire Series! It’s something completely sexy about a man with tattoos that holds a sword and kills reapers. Plus He has loved Ellie for over 700 years .That shows a deep love and dedication. My Second choice is Jude from Nicole Williams Crash series. He is the bad boy, he’s been to jail, he fights all the time, but he loves Lucy so much. He is willing to get into more trouble for her and that’s the sweetest, craziest thing ever. I would love to have both of these boys in my life!

4- Tell us what in your opinion sets your blog apart from the others
Hmmm, that’s a tough one! Something that sets my blog apart from others you say? I really don’t know, maybe my humor. I try to make my reviews have some sort of bright spot where you laugh out loud.

5- Can you tell us a little about your blog schedule? What can we expect to see in your blog during the week.
My blog schedule is SUPER random. I’m going to school and working and I try to post regularly put sometimes I forget so my poor blog gets the short end of the stick. But when I’m having a good week, I try to post two reviews one on Monday and the other on Friday. In between those I do the Teaser Tuesday, Waiting on Wednesday, and forward Friday (on Thursday). Then a Sunday post to conclude the week.

6- Do you eat when you read? if so tell us a little about what snacks you like to have.
My snacks depend on my schedule. If I’m on campus it’s a yogurt or some fruit that I pack for my between class snack. If I’m in my apartment it’s just tea, I’m completely addicted to it. Between my roommate and I probably have like 15 different flavors in our apartment at one time!

7- Tell us about the most random character you have ever read. Did you love the character or hated it?
LUNA LOVEGOOD!!! I don’t know why but I love this character. I feel like she embodies everything that I want to be. She could care less about what anyone has to say about her, she does her own thing.  When people call her Loony it goes over her head. I wish I was as fearless as she is, to have the courage to believe and act the way I want to, not the way society dictates how I should be, in order to be sane.

8- favorite and least favorite thing about blogging
Favorite thing is meeting new people! Before starting my blog I would always talk about the latest books I read with my friends that basically just nodded their head to get me to shut up. Now I have lots of friends that actually love books and will listen to what I have to say and will fan girl over their favorite authors with me.

My least favorite thing about blogging is the anxiety that comes with it. I’m always thinking what can I do to make my blog better, is my review to long, is it too short, will people actually read this, etc…   I take everything to the extreme so I cause stress in situations that short me stress free.

9- Most emotional or passionate review.
Pushing the limits by Katie Mcgarry! That book had my feelings going completely crazy. I loved all of the characters, they were very relatable, and their stories were completely unique and heart-wrenching.  It’s just something about flawed character’s that suck you and doesn’t release you until the bitter end.
Pushing the limits took me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me crying most of the time, and when right when I loved the story, it ends. Just like that. And I still want more Noah and Echo!! Sequel please!

10- Have you ever met any of your favorite authors? If so, could you please share your experience?
Funny you should mention this, because I’m going to my first book signing on February 8th!! Marissa Marr will be in Irving Texas on that day and I’m sooooooo excited!! I’m probably going to go fangirl crazy and I can’t wait to get my book signed and maybe one for someone else if that’s allowed.
