Synopsis
At the Asylum, Gage can hook you up with a really good tattoo and maybe he can hook you up with a little something extra maybe a burst of good luck, a dollop of true love, or even an hex on an ex.
Maybe you don't wish for Gage to ink you up, then how about Tronx a mean looking troll with a heart of gold... as long as you don't mess with his friends, or maybe Trixie a golden hair elf with a smoking body and a pass she isn't willing to share?
Follow this three as magic, their past and death comes knocking on their door.
Where to start with this book? The idea is really interesting a tattoo artist that can give you a little something extra, a bit of magic, luck or an hex. The problem is that this story is action packed and not in a good way, every time it feels like we are getting somewhere in this story another side story kicks in, we stumble from story to story where instead of progressing it feels as if we are taking steps back and muddling the main story instead of enriching it and making us want to know a little bit more about what is happening in the sides while following the main story.
The main characters are well thought, but again because of all the information we don't really get to enjoy them as we should.
Maybe if this book had been divided into 2 or 3 books we could really enjoy and get a real sense of what is happening in this world, how all of the characters are connected and where is this story trying to lead us.
