68. The number inked upon my skin, marking me the sixty-eighth pixie to be stolen.
87. The number of days I've been wrongfully imprisoned.
88. The first day the faeries will regret stealing me.

After discovering what her peers think of her Rosalie gets stolen away to work as a slave, now she has to work in the process of producing pixie dust. Cooping with her new life and forgetting the old is hard for her specially when the last words she heard from a fellow pixie was that they expected her to leave them any day now and that they did't expected her to look back.
Now working from dusk to dawn Rosalie must stay strong and fight to keep her sanity, no matter what problems she must face she must always be strong for Juniper, Willow, Poppie and all the pixies trapped down there with her.

Review
I must say I consider myself lucky, when it comes to the fae family I've stumbled into some interesting and different stories like Tooth & Nail by Jennifer Safrey and Shayla Witherwood: a Half Faerie-tale. Honestly I never expected trouble steering up in the fae world like this.
Pixies being imprisoned, slaved and broken, so that they can prepare the pixie dust for other fae that are to lazy to do it themselves.
This book could be considered strong because of the way the story is told you get to feel it as poor Rosalie feels it, the desperation when she has no idea why she was taken away, the horrors she experiences as a captive and the toll it takes on the other pixies. Rosalie is with out a doubt the star of this story she shines with her spunk, the way you connect with her and her will to keep on going.
A thing I loved is that there aren't any unnecessary characters, everybody plays their roll perfectly, every character shines and makes an impact in this story, we get to know why they are relevant and they strongly expand our point of view of the world Rosalie lives in, even if she isn't able to experience it.
If you are craving faeries  pixies or something fae related look no more. This book has action, a compelling character, a good story, an unbreakable fighting spirit and a little romance.

  1. Oh, I'm so glad you liked it Berenice! I agree about it having action and romance, and that no character was unnecessary. Great review, girly!
