Synopsis
Charlotte didn't know what to make of it at first when the strange letter appeared in her locker telling her she had been invited to join the league of strays, where they serious? was this some kind of joke? The only way to find out was to catch the meeting and see if this was for real and what it was about.
Once there she meets nerdy Nora, boyish Zoe, the school dealer Richie and mysterious Kade who asked them all to meet there.
Review
The best way I can describe this experience is that I loved the way L.B. told the story, but it was the story that was being told what i didn't like. This type of story's needs to fool both the characters and the reader to really work.
It feels as if the author has more to give, but this wasn't the story to make her shine. The way the story is written could make time slip away and that is why I would like to see her work on a different story, maybe whit another realistic fiction story, sadly this time it failed to deliver that suspense, mystery and some of the psychological play that a story like this needs.
Some of the characters where well made, specially Charlotte, who we see get dragged into this mess, change because of the prospect of friendship and then realized how she was being used, that it was right to fight back, and why some times she doubted Kade and the times she decided to blindly follow him are parts that show us who the real Charlotte.
