Review
First of all lets start with the book cover, it is gorgeous! and it was what drove me to it in the first place, (and could we agree it would be criminal to change it?) the thing that made me feel I could not do with out this book was the story behind the cover, the intrigue, the lies and the whole plot.
I'm happy to report I was not disappointed, this book is really good. I've had female authors create vivid male characters and I'm so happy to say that Theo Lawrence created a good female character with Aria, her friends may be really superficial, but not her. Aria is a character that will fight for what she thinks it's right and for what she wants, even when things look really dark she will try to find a way out of the mess she is in.
The combination of romance and everything else that is happening, the injustice, the corruption of the system, the exploitation and clear division of classes push this story a little further and make it a more and more addictive as you get to know this world more, as you get to know it's past and the secrets it's hidden from it's citizens, it's like you can't leave this book as if it secretly found a way to hypnotize you and make everything else stop.
Now the fact that this book captivates you doesn't mean it's one of those books that wont let you go, you can go and do whatever you want to do but the moment you start reading it again it's as if you un-paused a movie and and retake it just where you left it.
