Synopsis
"Wait!" I protested, but the Darkling was already turning away. I grabbed hold of his arm, ignoring the gasp that rose from the Grisha onlookers, "there's been some kind of mistake. I don't... I'm not..." my voice trialed off as the Darkling turned slowly to me, his slate eyes drifting to where my hand gripped his sleeve. I let go, but I wasn't giving up that easily. "I'm not what you think I am" I whispered desperately.
The Darkling stepped closer to me and said, his voice so low that only I could hear, "I doubt you have any idea what you are".

I know it's not the regular synopsis you are used to but that was the part that gave me shivers and make me want to read this book.

This book will have you twisting, turning, shivering with excitement and Oh my god'ing as if you where Jannice from friends. Veronica Roth is right when she said it was unlike anything she had ever read, this book is that awesome and unique breed of book that if you judge it by the name it will not stand out.
One of the elements that I feel make this book amazing is it's characters, it doesn't matter if the characters are humans or not, or in which world you are able to find them it's the capacity to make other resonate with the characters that make the book a tad more addictive, and with a story like that it makes it a tad more difficult to put this book down.
If you are looking for a book that is difficult to put down and you also like the work of Cinda Williams Chima then I really do think this book is for you dear reader.
I liked this book soo much that it feels like I can wait 3 more years for the next book, if that is the time Leigh Bardough needs to write a book this good, so waiting for the next book a year doesn't feel that long, but it does make it a little nerve wrecking when I can't even start to imagine where this series will go to next.

By the way here is another taste of the cover of Shadow and Bone, it's the ARC cover and I also like it, and I hope you guys like it too ;)
