Review
Honestly I felt kind of cheated, this book is under the labels of fantasy, paranormal and magic in goodreads, but never did it say it was christian fiction. I also get that it was my fault Read it & Reap in goodreads, did say that it had Christians undertones, but I only say the YA part.
I find it good that Christians are trying to give teens and young adults an opportunity to read a book that touches their religions topics and values. The topic of Christianity isn't as strong during the book but near the end it takes form and gives sense to who the author was really trying to reach.
Overall this is a good book, the narration and the characters do feel real although I wish we could have visited more of the other characters, instead of centering the story with Mackenzie and Wesley, I do feel there where characters with more to give, and I bet that if you read the rest of the trilogy you may get the opportunity to know more about them.
