Synopsis
Seems like Val got to live another day after the big vampire mess, and is invited to a Demon Undeground party, in which she is giving back the Encyclopedia Magika, a rare collection of books with tons of information about demons and everything magical, you would think that all the demons attending would be happy right? well not so much when Alejandro's vamps join the party and the great books they've been waiting for and believed lost for ever are stolen by someone, and what is worst there is a high possibility it was one of them.
What is Val to do you ask, well obviously she isn't going to wait by the telephone to see if the robber decides to come clean, she takes it upon herself to find out the truth, especially when her new "friends" a.k.a. Members of the New Blood Movement are getting attacked and driven into insane even more blood thirsty creatures.
And of course we are forgetting the cherry on the top, after things apparently ending so well between her and Dan Sullivan, the dream team may come to an end. But is it really the end of the A-team? and if it is what is out there for Val?
Review
Ok, this book was a little to hard to read, there was a time I was about to leave it there, in the middle of it all, why? because something stupid (stupid at least for me) happens and the author uses a lame lame excuse that leaves you feeling like the characters didn't want to do this, the author was somehow into all of this happening and it was either the readers or the editor who made Parker Blue have this change of heart.
After resting a little and deciding to put on my big girl panties I finished the book, IF we put that issue behind it's a good book, after getting over that issue and resting a little you will find out that it all probably works for the best, if I where to compare this experience it would be like reading Mr. Collins from Pride and Prejudice, you know you have to read it to get a real feel about how the Bennet's feel about him, but the overall book is a good one.
I'm serious this is one of those times where you feel the world was ending but then something good happened, so please if you gave Bite Me a try it is really worth it you read Try Me.

Rating: 7 1/2 out of 10
