{Cover Wars} Cover Loving week 28-29

We are down to our final two and I am glad to announce that Cover Wars as you know it will be back on Wednesday for you to vote on your favorite cover.
Yes guys this is THE FINAL COUNT DOWN (tanananaaaaaa tanananaaaaa) ok… I guess that only works when you are listening to that song…. Well moving on here are the two last covers you deemed worthy of your loving.
What is a band to do when two of its members back off from their post high school plans? GO ON, they move forward on their tour through the Pacific Northwest. The cover you feel fits best for The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour is…..
THE ORIGINAL COVER WITH AN 80’S VIBE!!!!!!!
And last but not least we have the story about those weird twists of faith, those paths we never thought we would have to walk on. Of course we are talking about Severed Heads, Broken Hearts / The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider. As you can see this book didn’t just get a cover make over but a title change, which didn’t make me really happy and for the looks of it…..
YOU GUYS ARE LIKE ME STILL CRUSHING ON THE ORIGINAL COVER AND TITLE!!!!!
Poor “The Beginning of Everything” it didn’t get any cover loving.
Well folks that is all for now on the” Cover Loving” special…. I am thinking of maybe using Cover Loving instead of Cover Wars, it might sound kind of hippy but I like the ring it has to it. What do you guys think????

{Cover Wars} Severed Heads, Broken Hearts / The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider

So the title and cover changes keep on coming, I seriously don’t get this new trend specially for a book with a title as awesome as “Severed Heads, Broken Hearts” now before you catalog me as a psycho for liking this title it’s just that it actually does its job, it is both memorable and spikes your interest. Even if you would never pick this book up because of its title you will remember it for some time.
Now let’s take a look at the book summary before I keep on rambling:
Golden boy Ezra Faulkner believes everyone has a tragedy waiting for them—a single encounter after which everything that really matters will happen. His particular tragedy waited until he was primed to lose it all: in one spectacular night, a reckless driver shatters Ezra’s knee, his athletic career, and his social life.
No longer a front-runner for Homecoming King, Ezra found himself at the table of misfits, where he encounters new girl Cassidy Thorpe. Cassidy is unlike anyone Ezra’s ever met, achingly effortless, fiercely intelligent, and determined to bring Ezra along on her endless adventures.
But as Ezra dives into his new studies, new friendships, and new love, he learns that some people, like books, are easy to misread. And now he must consider: if one’s singular tragedy has already hit and everything after it has mattered quite a bit, what happens when more misfortune strikes?
Now let’s take a look at the contestants first we have the book that makes you wonder “What in god’s name could the author have writer to give this book a name like that”
And the cover that is showing us that life can be a roller coaster ride:
A thing that upsets me is that the author Robyn Schneider was really excited about the cover reveal for Severed Heads, Broken Hearts and had a lot of support in her cover contest, you get to see wonderful and interesting interpretations of her story based solely in the book blurb.
Well guys what do you think about this covers and title change?? Comment, vote, tweet, but let us know how you feel about this.
