{Cover Wars} Crewel by Gennifer Albin

Hello guys and welcome to Cover Wars where covers battle it out and ask you which one is the best face for the story they hold inside. Each week different books come and show you all they’re faces all the covers the world has known them about. Last week we had Chocolate Aftertaste by Liz Grace Davis shall we see which cover you thought fit best this women’s romantic fiction?
The winner is….
The newbie cover!!!!
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that took the time to vote in the polls but especially for those of you that took your time to comment on the cover that you liked best. For this week we move into dystopian territory a book that caused some fuzz last year and that you might know it as Crewel by Gennifer Albin, for those of you that haven’t heard about it here is my book blurb.
Her parents always knew she was special, different from other girls, that is why they started training her to be as normal as possible to fail the test that all girls must take once they've reached the age of sixteen.
For girls everywhere becoming a spinster is the equivalent to becoming a super star. It's the only way girls can aspire to something more in this world ruled by man, also the extras aren't bad at all, eternal beauty, privileges, and having the power to embroider the fabric of life that makes this world go around.
But all the years of training during the nights are all for nothing the moment Adelice moment of truth come and the call of the fabric of life is to much for her to bear. Now what other girls have dreamed all their lives to become is Adelice future. Adelice learns the hard way that there is nowhere to escape and that she must learn to behave to keep her loved ones safe from the corrupted government she now works for.
Now that we all know a bit about Crewel let’s take a look at the pretties!
First up is the original cover the one that is mysterious and teases you not revealing it’s dystopian nature or the world that lives inside its pages.
Then we have the new cover, the one that doesn’t beat around the bush and is more clear about the type of world Crewel lies, one that even though it's nice to look at gives you the feeling that things can go wrong at any moment, I present to you the cover makeover.
Now guys take a good look around and tell us which of this covers is really your favorite, which one you think fits better the story and which would you like in your shelf. Please remember to vote and comment.
