{Ranting and Talking} Comic-Con my bits of wisdom

So for some time now I’ve been thinking I should do a Comic-Con special and I finally decided I am going to share the little knowledge that I have with you guys.
.- Wear comfortable shows. You are going to be most of the time on your feet, or at least you will be walking more than usual, unless you stay on a panel all day, you will roam the exhibit hall, do lines and go hunt your lunch. Especially if you are going to be there for more than one day that is when you need your shoes to work for you.
.- Always read the Comic-Con newsletter, this little bugger is your guide to everything that changed from yesterday to today if an event was cancelled something was added it will let you know. Also it tells you some of the highlights from the day before.
.- When in doubt ask, Comic-Con counts with a lot of people that can help you out,  by not asking I missed on a lot of things over the years I’ve been at Comic-Con and I would hate for that to happen to you guys too, so ask around someone will have an answer.
.- There are events inside and outside the convention center so look for the schedule of activities and when you go outside of the convention center keep your eyes open you never know what you are going to see, but specially you never know WHO you are going to see.
.- Talking about life outside the convention center there is a list of things that will be happening where the sun shines http://www.outsidecomiccon.com/all-events/
.- No badge, no problem if you didn’t get a badge this year there are still some things that you can do,  yes there are activities for those badgely challenged and here you can see some of those activities http://www.star941fm.com/pages/jessica.html?article=11474799
.- Check the schedules, there are schedules for signings, panels and other events that go around so look hard and good to the things you would like to do. Take into consideration that for some events there will be a long line.
.- Lines and the time that it takes you to get to one place to the next should be part of your plan, they take time and don’t stress out.
.- You will never ever ever get to see everything that happens around at Comic-Con so enjoy the moment you are living in and forget about the rest.
.- Divide and conquer you and your friends don’t have to do everything together, it’s ok to split up and let everyone geek up and see what they want to see.
.- Arrange a meeting place or two it is easy to get lost at this big event. Me and my friends usually do a meeting place for lunch and a meeting place to leave the Con, for the lunch meeting we wait about 20 minutes and if you don’t arrive we leave, for when we are leaving we wait until our party is complete.
.- Be nice we are all here to have fun so respect others likes and don’t go hating on other peoples  interests.
.- Remember to eat, drink water and sleep!! There are some fainters every years and remember if you faint you will be missing on some of the fun so better take care of yourself and avoid things that could end up being bad for you.
.- If you are cosplaying please check out the SDCC costume weapon’s policy http://www.comic-con.org/toucan/wearing-costume-comic-con-check-our-costume-weapons-policy-first
.- ALWAYS WEAR YOUR BADGE!!
Warning: There are people out there that are gifted in one of two areas they’re what I call star magnets or the swag sirens, this people spot high profile people really easily and get the chance to take a picture with them (lucky ducks!!) and the swag sirens just know how to be in the right place at the right time and they practically stretch their hands and swags jumps towards them. If you are one of this people congratulations, if you are not just don’t have on them to hard :P
