{Cover Wars} Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore

Hello and welcome to cover wars the place where covers aren’t shy on fighting for your attention and to settle things once and for all you get to pick which cover wears the story best.
Last week we had a book about a girl that was in loved with the Ferryman, we are talking about Surrender by Rhiannon Paille, this edition wasn’t only original VS cover make over but it was also bold and unconventional VS traditional, so let’s see which one you guys liked best shall we?
The winner of last week’s Cover Wars is….

The most traditional cover that is also the Cover Make Over!
Now that we’ve seen which cover from last we you liked shall we move on to this week’s contestants? I’ll take your silence as a yes.
This week we have a first book in the series “Magic Under” the book is called Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore, come on and take a look at this book’s blurb:
Nimira is a music-hall performer forced to dance for pennies to an audience of leering drunks. When wealthy sorcerer Hollin Parry hires her to do a special act - singing accompaniment to an exquisite piano-playing automaton, Nimira believes it is the start of a new life. In Parry's world, however, buried secrets stir.
Unsettling below-stairs rumours abound about ghosts, a mad woman roaming the halls, and of Parry's involvement in a gang of ruthless sorcerers who torture fairies for sport.
When Nimira discovers the spirit of a dashing young fairy gentleman is trapped inside the automaton's stiff limbs, waiting for someone to break the curse and set him free, the two fall in love. But it is a love set against a dreadful race against time to save the entire fairy realm, which is in mortal peril.
Now that we all have some sort of idea of what Magic Under Glass is about let’s take a look at all the faces this book has had.
First we have a cover with a girl stumbling into something magical, her movements and the way she is picking at the jewelry box seems like it was something she couldn’t get away from.

Then we have a girl with a key a clue, an opportunity a key full of possibilities with a look on her face that says that whatever it may hide intrigues her.

Wait! don’t go to the poll yet! We still have one more cover, this one changed the concept that the other two were showing, this one takes the illustration route and gives a more graphic description on the name of the book giving it a sweet feeling.

So now you know our contestants ladies and gets so tell us and let us know which one you like best, please vote and/or comment and let us know what you think about them.

  1. The second one looks more like something I'd read. It has a fantasy feel to it. The first one looks like it is chick lit. The third one looks like she's undressing her bossom if you're looking at a thumbnail. The key is nearly invisible.
