Series: The Red Sector Chronicles #1
Publication Date: October 23, 2011
ASIN: B005z26DWM
Synopsis
Sloane McAlister has finally found the way to run away from the
safety of the white sector and venture into the wild dangers of the red sector,
whit the hope that she may find her missing brother.
Even though three years have passed, Sloane still hopes that her
twin brother Orion is alive and well, even though she knows his chances are slim
after that horrible Halloween night that changed the world for ever and
tore the siblings apart.
She has been training to fight vampires ever since that faithful
day when vampires stopped being "made believe" and became humanity's
worst nightmare, but what McAllister discovered when she crossed to the red
sector was something that not even all her years of training could prepare her
for.
Review
I just loved this book, Krystle Jones plays with a world that is
post-apocalyptic with a pre-dystopian vibe, that is really fun to read.
Krystle gives us this really wonderful story full of freshness,
characters that are really fun to read and a twist and plot that made the
little voice in my head that likes to make conspiracy theories and tries to
jump ahead in the book hang on every word to see if it could guess what was
coming next.
The only complain that I have about The Scarlet Dagger is that
it ended. I wasn't ready for it to end; even though I saw it coming and even if
this is just the first volume and I know there are more to come I just enjoyed
this one so much that I didn't want it to end.
